InMotion Software was born in 2008 when co-founders Brian Howard, John Howard and Jeremy Howa saw the mobile revolution on the horizon and knew it represented a tremendous opportunity for growth and innovation.
In the Mobile Revolution
They didn’t hesitate. Brian, a skilled engineer and mobile visionary, along with IBM veteran and entrepreneur John Howard and game development guru Jeremy Howa, got to work. InMotion’s first app went on sale a few days after Apple launched its app store in August of 2008, and over the next several years they steadily grew the team and independently published over two dozen titles.
One of InMotion’s games became the number one best-selling app in the world for a period of time. Another hit the number seven top-grossing spot. In all, six of the company’s creations ranked #48 or higher on Apple’s overall top-selling or top-grossing apps lists.
For a Rapidly Evolving Market
As the mobile app market matured, InMotion continued to evolve to meet new demands. The company leveraged its gaming experience, applying its mobile expertise to enterprise and consumer software while proactively anticipating emerging technologies. The addition of business development executive Greg Meador, UX visionary Matthew Jewell, and recruiting and sales leader Daniel Jimmie, facilitated the company’s shift to a full-service, design-centered software agency.
InMotion’s ongoing goal is to capitalize on its unique experience with mobile, but more importantly, to rethink how software development services are delivered.
